I grew up in a real estate focused family in Australia, where weekends and holidays were spent working on properties with my Dad, a well know real estate developer. Since the 1990s I have been involved in real estate; from licensed property management in Hawaii and Florida, to buying, renovating and selling my homes in Seattle. It was in Seattle where I had my first listing on Airbnb.

In 2019, I purchased an investment home in Palm Springs. After renovating, furnishing and styling the home, I listed with an established vacation rental management company. Not long after, realizing there must be a better way, I made the decision to self manage my property on Airbnb.

Since the switch, the home’s profitability has skyrocketed, with higher nightly rates, and consistent bookings throughout the year. My property on Airbnb is a “Guest Favorite” with 5 star reviews and Super Host status.
